Annual Conference: Helping You Understand and Connect

The humorist for the 2007 Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software Annual Conference has been announced: Joel Zeff, nationally recognized speaker, improvisational actor and writer, is slated to bring his special brand of levity to the three-day conference in Boston, MA. Zeff, who has performed at the conference in the past, energizes his audiences with motivational messages on such topics as creativity, communication and teamwork. His ideas, delivered with both humor and insight, help his audiences bring lightheartedness back into their often drab corporate environments.
Formerly a newspaper journalist and public relations executive, Zeff has performed with Ad-Libs, a renowned improvisational comedy troupe, since 1993. Blending his corporate-world experiences with his talents for humor and improvisation, Zeff’s presentations motivate audiences beyond the auditorium doors. His style establishes a positive and comfortable environment for his audiences, who explore, learn and grow as presentation participants. His particular brand of humor helps his audience to bring it all home: throughout his shows, participants come to realize how Zeff’s ideas can be applied toward making them better people and better employees.
Be sure to save the dates, July 18 through 20, 2007, for the Group 1 Software Annual Conference 2007: “Understand and Connect.” The conference will focus on the ways in which the software and solution offerings of Group 1 will help you to better understand and connect with your customers by transforming your customer data into profitable relationships. This year, the conference will be held in Boston, MA at the Hotel Sheraton Boston (http:// www.starwoodhotels.com). You can learn more about Group 1 Software Annual Conference 2007 at http://www.g1.com/About/Events/Conference/.

Group 1 Provides Easier Access to Product Installation Guides
Group 1 recently improved the Support site, http://www.g1.com/Support, to simplify the process of obtaining your Product Installation Guides. Formerly, the Support site prompted you to choose your Product Installation Guide from a Product Installation Guide listing on the Download page.
You can now access your Product Installation Guides by following the steps below:
- Use your User ID and password to log on to the Support site
- Select My Products from the menu
- Choose your product from the Available Products listing. Note that the static list of platform-based Installation Guides has been replaced by a single link to the specific Installation Guide for the Product selected for download.
- Click View Available Downloads from the choice(s) in the Purchase Listing. A new icon, indicating the presence of the Product’s Installation Guide, will be visible in the DOCS column of the Products entry.
Another improvement is the updated Installation Guides area of the Downloading Group Products window. This window appears when you click on the hyperlink in the FILE column
In the event that a Product's Installation Guide is missing, a message will appear, prompting you to check My Documentation > Installation Guides for your product's Installation Guide, or to contact Technical Support in the event that you cannot locate it. Please note that this new process is intended to associate Product Installation For Product Updates and Databases; users will be directed to the Product’s instructions on installing their Product Updates and/or Databases.
