REF#: MUz770P1C05 - This two-page letter informs MailStream Plus 7.7.0 customers that Group 1 Software has received an exception from the USPS regarding the format of the current PS Form 3605. Also referenced is a letter from the USPS that must be presented with all mailings submitted beginning January 8, 2006.
REF#: MUz770S2C05 - This one-page letter notifies customers of the availability of Product Update S02 for MailStream Plus 7.7.0. Product Update S02 addresses Change Requests 1-14763210, 1-15011968, and 1-15118633.
REF#: MUz770T1106 - This two-page letter provides Unix and Linux MailStream Plus 7.7.0 customers with instructions on how to restart the ACUCOBOL-GT runtime/license if they need to reboot their machine or if they encounter problems with the acushare license.
REF#: MUz770T2106 - This two-page letter informs MailStream Plus customers of an error that occurs when the runtime does not recognize a terminal type. Instructions to correct the error are included.

In September 2005, the USPS published a proposal in the Federal Register that would affect mailers who create Periodicals, Standard Mail, or Package Services pallets of flat-size mail or irregular parcels. The proposal aimed to reduce the cost and risk of damage associated with handling mail in sacks by reducing minimum pallet sizes for some pallets. Receiving only two comments, both of which were favorable, the proposal passed in late December 2005. The following amendment to the Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) 705.8.5.2 will take effect on May 11, 2006: [705.8.5.2 Required Preparation]Support for the above changes will be included in our MailStream Plus 7.7.1 release, which is due to be shipped this Spring. This version of MailStream Plus will also support the new Mail.dat standard, 05-2.
