Group 1 Software's Technical Services Division is pleased to
announce the launch of eService within the Support Web site. With
our primary goal being customer satisfaction, we have taken the
next step in achieving that goal.
You may ask, "What does eService mean to me?" eService provides
you, our customer, with new self-support features available through
the Group 1 Web site.
- Access Service Requests - You may access Service
Requests (SRs) opened after March 8, 2004, at the
company level.
You may also view Service Requests closed after March 8, 2004,
regardless of the date the SR was opened.
- Create Service Requests - You can now create/open
new Service Requests.
- Search Knowledge Base - You can now access the Group
1 Solutions Knowledge Base.
- The Knowledge Base is searchable and contains over 1,000
entries.
- All Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that were available
through
the Support site have been absorbed into the Knowledge
Base and will no longer be available in the FAQ format.
- View Personal Profile - You may view (read-only format)
your personal profile as supplied to Group 1.
This provides you with the ability to keep your contact information
current. If you must update the information contained in your
profile, simply open a Service Request under any product and
provide the information to be updated.
- View Active Contacts - You may view a list of active
contacts for your company (read-only format).
Again, this
allows you to keep your company profile up-to-date. If you
must update the information contained in your profile, simply
open a Service Request under any product and provide the information
to be updated. It is important that Group 1 has current contact
information for each company to ensure that relevant technical
and product information reaches active contacts.
A "Using eService Guide" is available for download from the Group
1 Web site, http://www.g1.com, login
to Support, Product Documentation, Miscellaneous. This Guide provides
answers to many of your questions and serves as a valuable tool
as you learn to navigate the "new" Group 1 eService Web site.
Call today about discounts on Group 1's CODE-1 Plus and MailStream
Plus iSeries/AS400 classes being offered in Chicago, Illinois
April 6-9, 2004. In addition to those classes being offered in
Chicago, Group 1 University is also offering public seminars at
three locations: Irvine, CA; Dallas, TX ; and Lanham, MD.
We also offer onsite classes. Some companies find onsite classes
given at their location a better investment. Onsite classes are
$2000/day plus travel expenses. These courses are convenient,
customized using your in-house data, and can be more economical
than the public seminars depending on the size of your group.
eLearning classes are offered by Group 1 University as an additional
method of training - so you don't have to leave your office.
Don't forget that Pre-Conference Intensives are offered every
year at the Users' Conference. This year, the classes will be
held July 19-20, in Atlanta, Georgia. The offerings are CODE-1
Plus, MailStream Plus and Merge/Purge Plus.
