That's right, we told you about the product labs - new this year based on your input - but we haven't told you about the two new labs and various other sessions that have just been added. Take a look at the session descriptions below and then go to the Group 1 Web site to register for Horizons 2003, Express to Success, and ride the rail with Group 1. Along with general conference information, additional session descriptions are available on the Group 1 Web site - http://www.g1.com/Uconf.

Product Labs:

GUI Product Usability Test Session

No Experience Allowed! Group 1's Documentation Department needs 15 users to help evaluate the usability of one of our GUI products (they're keeping the product name a secret!) Join a usability workshop to help Group 1 gain insight on the intuitiveness and functionality of a product, and get a hands-on introduction to the GUI product suite by test-driving one of those products for yourself. Group 1 will provide the PCs and facilitators and will collect your comments. Group 1 will also provide a defined set of tasks for you to complete.

Universal Coders Product Lab - NEW PRODUCT

In this hands-on session, the user can experience the power of Universal Coders and the worldwide capabilities of the most flexible API and architecture created to support addresses for over 220+ countries, including the US and Canada. This product lab will review the concepts of the management console, sample applications, micro-batch processing and other concepts explaining the value of this new product framework.

Technical Support: Who, What and Where

Who do you call when you have a problem? What information can you provide support to aid in quicker resolution of your service request? Where do you to look to achieve self-service? There is much more to learn about Technical Support. Join us in this relaxed, informative session and get the answers to these questions and much more - including our upcoming launch of eService and our knowledge base online.

Multi-National Characters Processing - International CODE-1 Plus

Most new computer platforms are "MULTI-BYTE/UNICODE" capable. Does that really mean that you can process multi-national data? What's involved? What are the benefits and pitfalls?

Software users of the Group 1 Canadian CODE-1 Plus V3.0.2 product can use the SERP Address Accuracy Product for the upcoming SERP cycle. The present SERP cycle ends on September 30, 2003, but Group 1 has taken the formal SERP test and been re-certified by CPC standards for the upcoming cycle. Mailers using the existing software in the field, Version 3.0.2 do not need to do anything to comply with the regulations. Mailers using any other version number MUST upgrade to Version 3.0.2 by October 1, 2003. For more information visit http://www.g1.com/support.
