Missed the August 1 Deadline? You Can Still Comply with CASS™ Cycle L!

So far, 2007 has been the year of major regulatory events. In addition to the R-2006 Rate Case that went into effect on May 14, we are now dealing with the CASS Cycle L changes that took place on August 1, 2007.

CASS Cycle L Requirements

This version of Cycle L includes new requirements for Delivery Point Validation (DPV™) and Locatable Address Conversion System (LACSLink™). Processing with these new requirements could have major ramifications on business operations.

Customers can expect to experience:

  • Longer processing times and/or additional CPU utilization, due to the additional processing required by DPV and LACSLink
  • Regulatory requirements that mandate the updating of business and production procedures
  • Reduced postal discounts, resulting from the reduction in the number of ZIP + 4® coded addresses

Group 1 CASS Product Upgrades

In an effort to help our customers and meet the recent regulatory mandates for CASS Cycle L, Group 1 Software has product upgrades available for our CASS products — CODE-1 Plus® and Finalist® for current customers that can be installed immediately, tested, and deployed. Also included in these releases is a DPV Flat File, an advanced DPV technology aimed at mitigating performance issues.

Free DPV Analysis

Group 1 Software also offers a free Group 1 DPV Analysis. That's right, free! This analysis will help determine how your business can further benefit from our innovative uplift and correction technology. The Group 1 solution, deployed as part of the CASS upgrade process, can potentially offset much of the reduction in DPV coding rates, while increasing your overall address quality.
