MailStream Plus® 7.8.0 Ships

MailStream Plus® 7.8.0 — with interim PAVE™ approval — is shipping for all platforms.

May 2007 Target Release Date

The PAVE approval allows its use to presort mail, including First-Class™, Standard or Package Services mailed on or after May 14, 2007. To take advantage of the update benefits, and to maintain MailStream Plus® PAVE certification, the C01 update should be installed as soon as it is available. The target release date is scheduled for early May 2007.

New PAVE Policy

The interim PAVE approval is the result of a new PAVE policy that automatically provides interim approval to previously certified products that have been submitted for testing.

Shipping Starts on June 14, 2007

Due to the Periodical changes that are effective July 15, 2007, MailStream Plus® 7.8.1 will be shipping starting on June 14, 2007. This release may also contain important changes for First-Class, Standard and Package Services mailers.

MailStream Plus PAVE Workflow

MailStream Plus® sorts mail to multiple levels and provides the required USPS statistical reports for presort savings.
