How Address Quality Hub™ Works
The Address Quality Hub™ delivers the most advanced coding algorithms, comprehensive databases, and patent-pending address correction methodologies to help you increase overall coding rates and confirmed delivery points for mailing. The Address Quality Hub™ matches input addresses to the addresses in multiple third-party databases in order to correct your address information. This address information includes:
- Primary house number address
- City
- State
- ZIP® Codes
- ZIP + 4® Codes
Coding Uplift Process
The ZIP + 4® Coding Uplift Module provides CASS™ coding uplift using additional address cleansing and correction modules that employ programming logic and advanced algorithms beyond the capability of any single CASS™ coding engine. First, a primary coding engine is identified. The address file is fed into the Address Quality Hub™ and the primary coder performs CASS™ processing. Address records that are rejected during this CASS™ processing are passed to one or more secondary coders for additional CASS™ cleansing and correction. The newly cleansed and corrected addresses are sent back to the primary coder for validation or failure. A single, comprehensive USPS® 3553 CASS™ report is generated, validating that CASS™ processing was performed. The additional coded address records, that would have otherwise been rejected, provide a significant lift in overall coding rates, qualifying more mail for USPS® automation presort discounts and improving mail deliverability.
Delivery Point Correction Process
The Delivery Point Correction Module corrects addresses that fail the USPS® DPV™ process that is invoked during the primary coder processing. As part of the address validation and correction process, addresses are checked against non-USPS® third-party data to find the best corrected candidate addresses. The candidate addresses are passed back through the primary coder’s USPS® DPV™ process for validation. Validated delivery points then receive a proper ZIP + 4® code and are successfully accounted for delivery and postal discounts.
