OpenEDMS Desktop is an application that connects to the OpenEDMS server using HTTP/HTTPS Tunneling. It provides batch file transfer, workflow drag and drop designer, OCR image processing and TWAIN interface for scanner control.

A unique feature of OpenEDMS Desktop is that it directly connects to the OpenEDMS server from the Internet/Intranet by using the same server environment that serves for document management and workflow management transactions from the browser interface.

OpenEDMS Desktop has an installation program that allows business users to install the application without difficulty.
