Spatial+™ Features and Benefits
Closest Site and Radial Analysis
Radial analysis is simply a distance test, much like using a compass to draw a circle around a given geographical point. Except with Spatial+™, the process is instant and automated. Examples include:
- Find the nearest supplier
- Calculate the distance between a home and work address
- Create a list of providers or suppliers within a pre-set distance
- Determine the number of homes supported by a public safety service
- Make smarter decisions on store locations
Geographic Boundary Analysis
Point-in-Polygon analysis enables you to accurately locate a set of points within a specific geographic boundary or polygon. Examples include:
- Determine if a property is in a high-risk area, such as a flood zone
- Identify prospects within your trading area
- Know whether a prospect is eligible for certain services, such as DSL
- Determine whether an individual qualifies for a government program
- Target messages in catalogs, direct mail and newspapers to a specific market
Buffered Zone Analysis
Spatial+™ can also perform analysis on buffered lines, points and polygons. Buffered objects allow you to determine, for example, if a point or points are within 500 feet of a flood zone or sales territory. This insures that “close” points are included in an area you select.
