Attention existing Customers
Updating your List Services profile does not update your permanent Contact record in our Siebel customer database. Because List Services allows both existing and prospective customers to manage their electronic communications with Group 1, these profiles and systems could not be effectively combined.
There are two positive notes with the two separate systems:
- You can manage your Technical Support and Support Site profile independently from your sales and List Services profile.
- Logging into the Support site gives you to access additional lists that are only available to Group 1 customers. This system is designed to automatically recognize that you are a valued customer and request that you login to the Support site first. The e-mail address with which you last signed into List Services will automatically populate the e-mail field, allowing you one-click sign in to List Services.
List Services: What is it?
List Services is an online system that provides existing and prospective customers with the ability to specify their preferences for receiving electronic communications from Group 1 Software.
When Group 1 Web site visitors register for a List Services account, they are given access to their List Services profile. By simply clicking to check or uncheck a list option, they can easily manage their subscriptions to Group 1's electronic communications.
List Services provides a flexible subscription process. Through the use of your profile, you can choose to Opt-In for one or more lists, or you can choose to Opt-Out for certain categories. There is a one-click option to Opt-Out of all electronic communications.
What is a List Services List
A list in List Services is information of a specific nature that is distributed via e-mail. The subject matter of each list will be detailed on the same screen where you would Opt-In or Opt-Out for each list. Subscribing to a list enables you to receive electronic communications concerning the subject of that list.
How do I register for a List Services account?
To register for a List Services account, click on list services registration. Enter your name and e-mail address, then submit the registration form. A confirmation link will be sent to your e-mail address. Click on the link to confirm your registration. During the confirmation process, you will need to enter a password for your account. An e-mail with your Username and password will be sent once the confirmation process is completed.
Attention existing Group 1 Customers: The "Username" and password for List Services differs from the "User ID" and password that you log into the Support site with. However, the systems are designed to link together and allow you to automatically sign in to List Services after you have logged into the Support site.
How do I subscribe or unsubscribe to a list?
You will first need to log in to your List Services account, and view your profile. Each category (with available lists) will be displayed, followed by a subcategory (if applicable) and the list names. Each list name will be preceeded by a box. If you are currently subscribed to a list, the box will contain a red check mark. If you are not subscribed to the list, the box will be empty. To subscribe to or unsubscribe from a list, click on the box preceeding the list's name. For more details about a list, click on the list's name. If you do not want to receive any electronic communications for this category of lists, you can click on the link provided below the lists under that category.
