Anexsys Selects Group 1´s DataVerse for Web Version
of World´s Largest Electronic Payment System
Solution to Provide Real-time Address Verification
Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced that Chicago-based e-gov provider Anexsys has selected Group 1's DataVerse solution for real-time verification of customer address data. Equally owned by Bank One and Firstar Bank, Anexsys works with federal, state, and local governments to design, build and implement innovative technology solutions.
Anexsys is one of two providers selected by the federal government for the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS), the world's largest electronic payment movement system. This fall Anexsys will launch EFTPS Online, a Web site enabling individuals and businesses to enroll and pay taxes electronically, using the strongest encryption and security technology available.
"By verifying address information in real-time, DataVerse US will be an integral component of EFTPS OnLine," said Mike Bickham, integration manager at Anexsys. "DataVerse will also significantly reduce our return mail fees and optimize customer registration by eliminating manual procedures associated with our current paper enrollment system."
