Group 1 Relocates and Expands South Florida Office To Accommodate Growing Business in Latin America
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (NASDQ: GSOF) today announced the relocation and expansion of its South Florida office, which serves the company's DOC1 customers in Latin America. The move to the larger offices was spurred by the rapidly growing Latin American sales of DOC1, Group 1's industry leading document composition system.
Over the past year, a number of leading businesses in the region selected DOC1 to produce dynamic, easy-to-read, personalized business documents for print and on-line delivery. These new customers include, in part, TLD de Puerto Rico/Movistar of Puerto Rico, Axtel S.A. of Mexico, Enotria of Peru, Jordan of Chile, Comcel of Columbia, Banco Rio and Caja de Seguros of Argentina, and Telesp Celular and Print Laser of Brazil.

The DOC1 production engine can run under MVS, Windows NT, Windows 2000, UNIX (Sun Solaris, HP/UX and AIX, DEC UNIX), Open VMS, OS/400 or PC DOS. DOC1 generates XML, PDF, and HTML for Web presentment as well as AFP, HP/PCL, Postscript, Metacode, and line data for high-speed production printing.
