Data quality software enhances offerings by software providers who address insurance, hospitality, transportation and logistics, and state and local governments

Lanham, MD, April 14, 2005 — Group 1 Software, Inc., a Pitney Bowes Company (NYSE:PBI), has signed agreements with five new partners in the past month, extending the reach of its Customer Communications Management (CCM) solution into untapped vertical markets. Group 1's unique CCM solution simplifies the gathering and manipulation of data, streamlines document creation and distribution, and ensures that information is accessible and secure.

Agilysys, Inc. (NASDAQ: AGYS), having recognized the benefits of improved data quality, has embedded Group 1's address hygiene solution into its Lodging Management System (LMS). Universal Coder™ is one of the pillars of Group 1's unique Customer Communications Management (CCM) solution. LMS is recognized as one of the hospitality industry's premiere property management systems.

Irista, Inc., a developer of industry leading logistics management solutions, will leverage Group 1's Universal Coder™ to improve the accuracy of the address delivery information at point of shipping. This transportation solution will reduce carrier surcharges dramatically and produce an immediate ROI.

Manatron, the leading provider of property tax and assessment software to state and local governments, has also selected Group 1 as its partner for data quality software. Additionally, Manatron will embed MailStream Plus^®, Group 1's postal sortation software, into its property tax and assessment software.

SIBRIDGE, a systems integrator that implements a framework, methodology, and approach to defining, managing, and automating strategic business and technology processes across the extended enterprise, is a new referral partner for Group 1's data quality solutions.

UCT, the recognized expert in insurance industry data conversions, has selected Group 1's CODE-1 Plus^® address verification software to be a key component of its client data integration and consolidation solution.
