Group 1 Software Promotes Elizabeth Walter to Executive Vice President - Worldwide Sales, DOC1 Division
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced that Elizabeth Walter has been promoted to executive vice president — worldwide sales, DOC1 Division. Ms. Walter, a Group 1 employee since 1990, previously was executive vice president of sales and marketing for Group 1's DOC1 Division, with sales responsibilities for North America and Latin America. In her expanded position, Ms. Walter will be responsible for worldwide sales and distribution of DOC1. She will also have responsibilities for sales of Group 1's data quality and data integration products outside of North America.
“Elizabeth Walter is a proven leader with a consistent track record of success in all the positions she has held at Group 1 Software,” said Alan Slater, president of Group 1's DOC1 Division. “Elizabeth has been instrumental in furthering DOC1's position in North America as the leading integrated system for managing an organization's customer communications needs. In her new role, Elizabeth will provide executive leadership to DOC1's sales and distribution activities on a global basis.
Ms. Walter, an electrical engineer by training, has over twenty years' experience in the software industry, having served in software sales at companies including IBM and Syncsort. Ms. Walter's career at Group 1 has included positions of increasing authority and responsibility in direct sales, field sales management and executive sales and marketing management.
