Group 1 Software Receives USPS' MAC Batch Certification
for MailStream Plus Software Solution
New Certification Enables MailStream Plus Users To Accelerate Approval Process Within USPS Manifest Mailing System
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has awarded its Manifest Analysis Certification (MAC) for batch manifest mailings to Group 1's MailStream Plus presort solution. MAC accelerates the process of end-user certification by the USPS for manifest mailings.
The USPS developed the MAC certification process in cooperation with the mailing industry to evaluate USPS manifest mailing products. MAC determines whether manifest mailing software meets industry standards by accurately listing and calculating postage for identical- and/or non-identical-weight permit imprint mailpieces.
“We're excited to receive MAC Batch certification for MailStream Plus, which provides our customers an expedited path through the manifest mailing system,” said Tim King, Group 1's vice president of postal affairs. “This accomplishment underscores our continuing efforts to offer our customers a complete mailing solution that meets the highest levels of USPS approval and certification.” Group 1's end-to-end mailing efficiency software solutions let businesses maximize the effectiveness of direct marketing efforts while achieving significant postal discounts.
