Optika and Group 1 Software Announce Worldwide Reseller Agreement
Combined Offering to Include Complete ECM Suite and Financial Management Solutions
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Oct. 15 — Optika® Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTK), a leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) provider of imaging, workflow, collaboration and records management software, today announced a global reseller agreement with Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) of Lanham, Maryland. Under the agreement, Group 1 will resell Optika's technology products into its global base of over 3,000 customers and also represent Optika in new customer opportunities. This sales and technology partnership will combine the ECM solutions of Optika with the high-speed document creation, production, storage and on-line presentment capabilities of Group 1's DOC1 suite.
With this alliance, Group 1 will offer its customers the full suite of Optika AcordeTM solutions for content management, production-level workflow, collaboration, records management and compliance. Optika will train Group 1 sales and support personnel in Europe, Middle East, Asia, North America and South America. Additionally, Optika and Group 1 will integrate the product lines to offer a solution for end-to-end document lifecycle support, from production through final disposition.
