Norway's National Telecom Provider Selects DOC1
To Generate All Client Letters and Invoices
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced that Norway's national telecommunications carrier Telenor is implementing Group 1's DOC1 and Message1 software solutions to generate all of its customer communications. The technologies are a component of Telenor's efforts to lower operating costs by 4 billion Norwegian Krone.
The DOC1 suite gives businesses complete control of the document lifecycle, from content design, generation, and presentment to archiving, retrieval and electronic payment. Message1, an add-on application, enhances DOC1 by giving marketers the power to create one-to-one messages for dynamic documents without having to involve IT.
Telenor's mobile division, Telenor Mobil, has utilized DOC1 for the last two years. Following an extensive evaluation of the technology and a cost of ownership analysis, Group 1 will now provide DOC1 and Message1 across all Telenor's divisions.

Telenor selected the DOC 1 Suite as its exclusive vendor to design and generate its fixed line, mobile, business and domestic client letters and invoices. Group 1's professional services teams in Denmark and the United Kingdom will assist with the conversion of incumbent applications, which were running on a mainframe environment under a competitive technology. DOC1 will be running under UNIX in all locations.
