GDT and Group 1 Extend Exclusive Reseller Relationship
for Municipal Boundary File for Tax Applications
Agreement Provides Users of Group 1's GeoTAX the Most Comprehensive, Up-to-Date Information for Tax Jurisdictions Nationwide
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced that it has extended its exclusive reseller relationship with Geographic Data Technology, Inc. (GDT) for the integration of GDT's geographic boundary data into Group 1's tax-related applications. The multiyear agreement provides for the integration of GDT's Dynamap/Municipal Boundaries database into Group 1's GeoTAX tax jurisdiction assignment solution. With the agreement, GeoTAX users have exclusive access to the most current and accurate information regarding municipal tax boundaries nationwide. Group 1's GeoTAX is a comprehensive suite of tools that standardizes addresses and appends accurate state, county, municipal place, and special tax jurisdiction information to customer address records. GDT's Dynamap/Municipal Boundaries database provides the most up-to-date information on the legal boundaries of incorporated places. The database tracks governmental boundary changes from new incorporations, annexations, de-annexations, mergers, consolidations, disincorporations, or dissolution of local governmental entities.
