Endsleigh Insurance First European Company
to Purchase Group 1 Software's DOC1 Archive Solution
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced that United Kingdom insurance and financial services provider Endsleigh Insurance has licensed Group 1's DOC1 archive to enhance customer service. DOC1 Archive enables real time indexing, storage, compression and retrieval of business documents regardless of their age or size, and enables users to store hundreds of millions of documents online. Endsleigh joins over twenty other companies in the United States, Canada and Latin American that have licensed DOC1 Archive in its first year on the market.
Endsleigh is an independent intermediary specializing in the provision of insurance and financial products for career people. It is adding DOC1 Archive to its existing DOC1 suite for customer communications management, which gives businesses complete control of the document lifecycle, from content design, generation, and presentment to archive, retrieval and payment.
DOC1 Archive will provide Endsleigh's customer service representatives (CSRs) and branch employees sub-second access to all policy documents and letters sent out to each individual client. DOC1 Archive stores the print stream used to produce the original policy documents and converts it in real-time to a viewable format, so call center staff will view exact replicas of the original printed document. They will also be able to send copies in PDF by email and make reprints locally.
DOC1 Archive ingests over 2.5 million pages per hour and supports thousands of concurrent users. Advanced compression technology will enable Endsleigh to store seven years of documents on a single server, eliminating the need for expensive computer output to laser disk (COLD) storage. DOC1 Archive's rapidly deployable technology enables users to have a fully functional archive system up and running in a few days. “We are very pleased that Endsleigh is taking full advantage of our customer communications management technology,” said Paul Webb, Group 1's vice president of DOC1 sales and marketing for Europe, Middle East and Asia. “By implementing DOC1 Archive, Endsleigh's call centers will provide optimal service by increasing first call closure, reducing waiting times and resolving queries faster while improving collections and reducing labor costs.”
“We have been very impressed by the usability and capability of the DOC1 products that already exist within our IT infrastructure,” said Paul Nicholas, project manager, Endsleigh Insurance. “The decision to buy DOC1 Archive was therefore made a whole lot easier as we already have first hand knowledge of Group 1 and their software solutions. We have big plans for DOC1 Archive. Eventually, after the initial implementation, the archive technology will be connected to the Endsleigh Insurance website to allow our customers online access to their own personal policy documents and customer correspondence.”
