MailStream Plus Presort Solution
Group 1 Strengthens Support for Newest United States Postal Service (USPS) Web-Based Initiatives
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced significant enhancements to its MailStream Plus software solution. These enhancements will enable users to take advantage of USPS programs that simplify and accelerate mail presentation and acceptance. Additionally, MailStream Plus has been Presort Accuracy Validation and Evaluation (PAVE)-certified by the USPS for new presort regulations that go into effect April 30. MailStream Plus is a comprehensive solution for mail preparation that presorts mail for the highest attainable postal discounts from the USPS.
MailStream Plus now produces files that enable users to participate in the USPS PostalOne! electronic initiative without having to license additional software solutions. PostalOne! streamlines the mail acceptance and postage payment process, provides consistent verification, improves tracking of mailing jobs and access to information, and eliminates paperwork. MailStream Plus also now produces the Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) file, which is a component of the USPS Confirm automated mail tracking program. By outputting the ASN file, users can track mail via the Internet as it moves through the postal system.
