ICMA Retirement Corporation Installs Group 1's
DOC1 Suite, Enabling Customers to View
Financial Account Statements Via the Web
Lanham, MD — Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF) today announced that ICMA Retirement Corporation (ICMA-RC) has installed Group 1's DOC1 technology, enabling its customers to view current and historical retirement statements and trade confirmations over the Internet. Headquartered in Washington, DC, ICMA-RC is an independent corporation created to manage and administer retirement plans exclusively for the benefit of public sector employers and employees. The DOC1 suite gives businesses complete control of the document lifecycle, from content design, generation, and presentment to archive, retrieval and payment.
“One of the primary reasons we selected DOC1 was its ability to index and store our documents in the repository dramatically faster than any competitive product,” said Bob Barkin, vice president of communications at ICMA-RC. “DOC1 also requires fifty percent less storage than similar technologies. And with a common document repository, our customers and our internal call center agents can quickly retrieve and view exact replicas of customer communications. Our customers also receive an e-mail notification when a statement is available for viewing online. We're very excited that over 10,000 ICMA customers have enrolled for online access in the first three months that this capability was offered.”

ICMA-RC has licensed DOC1 Present, which enables businesses to deliver documents via the Internet for Web-based self-care. Additionally, ICMA-RC has installed DOC1's integrated document repository, a scalable, high performance repository that can store millions of customer documents.
