Group 1 Software Continues Latin American Growth
with Addition of New Customers in Argentina and Chile


Lanham, MD —Group 1 Software (Nasdaq: GSOF), a leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM)-enabling software solutions, today that Argentina's La Caja and Chile's Synapsis have selected Group 1's DOC1 customer communications management suite to generate targeted business documents. DOC1 permits enterprise-wide creation and management of highly personalized customer communications and messaging campaigns for multi-channel delivery. The DOC1 suite enables companies to communicate with millions of customers using one-to-one communications via the customers' preferred delivery method.

La Caja, Argentina's leading provider of insurance and financial services, selected DOC1 to develop and print insurance policy statements and award summaries for its "CajaPlus" points program.

"After careful review of other solutions, we chose DOC1 to increase the speed and efficiency of our printing process," said Ana Luisa Martinez del Valle, systems analyst with La Caja. "Because we work with insurance contracts, our printing procedures are extremely complex and DOC1 is compatible with the platform and printers we use. We also purchased the messaging component of DOC1 Marketer to enhance personalization of messages for various client promotions and insurance products."

Synapsis, a member of Chile's Grupo Enersis holding company, provides IT-related services to other companies in the Grupo Enersis family and to private sector businesses. Synapsis has a growing client base of DOC1 users who want to enhance their company's image through business documents.
