Finalist Lookup GUI Screens

Do you secretly (or maybe blatantly) hate DPV and LACSLink processing? Do you break out in a cold sweat when you hear the term CASS Cycle L? Come to this hands on lab and let us help you channel your hostilities into meaningful address matching. Using the Windows Lookup GUI Screens, you’ll see LACS addresses code or not code and find out why. You’ll see addresses DPV confirm or not confirm and find out why. During this lab, you will learn to love and embrace DPV, LACSLink processing and CASS Cycle L. After all, they aren’t going away! Confronting one’s fears and dislikes is the first step towards positive address matching.

DOC1 Data Flow

In this session you will learn how easy it can be to prepare the data for your documents using DOC1 Data Flow. Regardless if your data is sitting in a billing system, on a mainframe, in SAP, in a “strange” XML format or flat files, you will understand how to connect to these systems. You will actually learn how to transform data from flat files and reformat for DOC1. We will also teach you how to access a database and get the information into the format needed for DOC1. When you are unfamiliar with DOC1 and/or databases, don’t worry. The concept is easily understood and you will understand that you do not need to understand — the software helps you with all of that.

You will learn what concepts are involved and experience some of the ramifications of those when applying them to a Data Flow Plan. This is an advanced class for experienced Users.

MailStream Plus and the Intelligent Mail

Are you a mail nerd?

  • Do you have a scrapbook of all the IMB mail that you’ve received?
  • Is it indexed?
  • Do you check the RIBBS Web site daily to see if the IMB Technical Resource Guide has been updated in the last 24 hours?
  • Do you have a framed copy of the first IMB that you received?

If you answered yes to any of the above, this hands on lab is for you!

You’ll learn how to setup the various MailStream Plus options for IM barcodes, using a batch job. You will see how MailStream Plus can:

  • update the input record IMB payload and encoding data
  • generate the 10-digit and 24-digit IM Tray Label barcode information along
  • generate the IM Container barcode information
